mmm, yes! salt and vinegar discos make the best sandwiches because they are so strong. fish fingers sandwiches are the best! must have salt, vinegar and ketchup on though.
my favourite sandwich at the moment is pickled beetroot and mayonnaise. yum!
(i seem to have a thing for vinegar!)

When I was 'away' I liked to have BIG sarnies made with jam (any), chips, sugar, egg, sauce (red or brown) and anything else they gave me which was inedible on it's own.
You have to eat all you are given in places like that, and sandwiches helped.
I've got over it a little since then, well it has been 16 years now, but I still eat most things in between 2 slices.
Current fav?
Eggy bread.

Yes! I don't usually eat salt and vinegar crisps, but on a sandwich it's lovely.
My son doesn't eat sandwiches, (he's not normal) but he will eat toasted cheese sandwich and a crisp sandwich.
Brown sauce on bread and butter, lovely.

Sandwiches are like my favourite food ever:
Prawn cocktail skips are great as a crisp filling.
Fish fingers and tomato ketchup on white bread.
Cream cheese and jam.
Banana and chocolate spread (white chocolate spread is good too).
In non-sandwich weird food:
Corn chips dunked in chocolate spread / marshmallow fluff.
Sponge fingers dunked in ribena.
Babybel cheese and mango kebabs (which is realy just cheese and mango on a stick, garnished with cherry tomatoes if there's any in the fridge).
Mashed potatoes with mascapone and chives.
Hungry now...

Pureed raw garlic on toast (with a bit of butter) - great when you've got a cold, and if you dont want to speak to someone for days!
Sugar sandwiches - have you ever had those? Basically two slices of bread and butter with a sprinkling of sugar in between. Mmm. Healthy!
