I always used to think that all that stuff was a bunch of crap, but in the past 4 years I really do believe there is ghosts. It started when I moved in my apartment. I stay because nothing bad has ever happened and my kids never talk about seeing anything. It is really freaky at times. They move stuff around on me (not physically right in front of my eyes), and I hear whispering sometimes when it is really quiet. One time I felt something brush against my leg when I was sitting down. I also received a phone message on my answering machine that sounded like someone whispering and saying I've made it. I had to replay it a million times to understand what it was saying but, that was one of the freakiest things. They also come in spurts. Like I could experience several things in one month, and then nothing for 6 months or longer. Have you had any ghostly encounters? Do you believe?

i know for a fact ghosts exist and you can make them move on if you wanted to. christians and atheist may think you are crazy but in all reality they are the true crazy people around here. if they dont harm you then they are guardian spirits that stay there for a reason and if you want to really know why. try to meditate with a candle and they will tell you if you can astral your energy so they can see it they will talk to you as well. anything supernatrual has to have a reason to be here and dont let anyone of these idiotes who say you are crazy get to you and the bible isnt a answer to why there are ghost on earth either. satan was never casted to earth and the book of revelation is about the fall of Rome not today. there are also great shows on TV that talk about hauntings as well like "ghost hunter" "most famous huantings" and a couple of other shows all have debunked the falsehood of the people who dont believe in such things. i for one have released many ghosts from this plain of existence in my time.

You can make yourself believe anything. If you don't see the stuff move, then you are just saying it was ghosts, when it had to be you or someone else. If you felt a brush against your leg, it could have been anything, but you just say it's a ghost. A message on your answering machine could be anyone or a faulty machine, it doesn't mean it's a ghost. There are many excuses for the things you have experienced. I don't believe, so I would not believe these were ghostly happenings. Why is it that the only people that experience ghosts, are ones who believe in them? You can convince yourself of anything, but you would be deluding yourself.

Something like near death experiences where there are tens of thousands of well documented cases and where clinical studies have been carried out lead me to believe there is existence outwith our material universe. It seems to me that this can no longer be a taboo subject-questions need to be asked and serious scientific study has to be carried out on "paranormal" phenomena. For example I knew that a loud buzzing noise was heard before an out of body experience yet I have heard that noise just as I was waking up from a dream so there is a physiological explanation for a "paranormal" event. If science made the effort they may find out that there are indeed natural explanations for seemingly supernatural occurences.

Haven't had many encounters myself, but I totally believe in all of that stuff. A friend of mine has a term he uses to describe the paranormal: "unexplained science." I agree with that. People tend to be skeptical about ghosts because there isn't much scientific evidence for them, but I definitely think the phenomenon exists. If you just search for a couple seconds on the Internet, you'll find thousands and thousands of eyewitness accounts and testimonies from people who swear they've experienced something that they just can't explain. Granted, maybe a lot of those people were asleep or drunk or hallucinating or something else, but what about the people who weren't? Are ALL of those cases illegitimate? Seems pretty hard to believe... to me anyway.

I honestly don't even think religion has anything to do with it, either. I don't think it's too farfetched to believe that human beings have a soul (or spirit, or consciousness, or whatever you want to call it) that survives death. A lot of people are skeptical, but when you look at the thousands and thousands of reports, plus many pictures and videos depicting strange activity, I definitely think it's something worth investigating.

I think you're spooking yourself. There's probably good explanations for all of those instances. If you're in the mindset to believe something it doesn't take much for other occurrences to be attributed to that cause. You only need one thing to convince you you have a ghost before you start perceiving a haunting.

well, i think the christians dont have any ideas concearning paranormal and they pretty much blanket coat all paranormal and occult activity as satanic. to protect themselves from their believers from finding out the truth of reality after death. i put extensive research in things considered altered states of consciousness. and this covers a lot of experiences many people have had, and create for themselves with time, meditation and practice. the different altered states are all under one main condition. that the body is very very asleep, and yet the mind is aware awake as in normal. it can be a lucid dream, it can be an out of body experience, it can be a near death experience, it can be anything that has you aware at a time that your physical body is not functioning. and yet your mind is. in this state, it is common for the person experiencing this event to meet and talk to relatives and friends who have passed away, to travel incredible speeds to locations impossible to the physical body, to become aware of vast stores of information not known before the experience. trances can also start experiences like that. often looking at (pools of water, reflections in glass, dark mirrors, crystal balls, etc.) can create that form of trance and its called scrying. so yeah there is a world that underlies this reality and yes you could say its spiritual, witches call it astral. but that in order for anything to exsist here in physical it needs to be made astrally first. but there is a lot of noise in the astral world too, this is due to the chaotic thinking of everyone on this planet. negative thoughts create disturbances these disturbances are very much like static on t.v. and radios. anyway before i write a book on this subject, yes paranormal is very real if you explore it correctly you will find this out. you can ask me any questions you wish.
hope this helps

Yes I believe. More along the lines of Pequen(one of the others who answered earlier). They are demons, But more than causing physical harm, they are not necessarily there to hurt you. I believe that they come to us to scare us or more to make you doubt the word of God. They don't want you to believe that when you die you go to heaven. they want you to think it doesn't matter if you seek Jesus because you'll live right here in this world in another dimension. Just speculating on their purpose.

Do I believe in Ghosts? Nope, never saw one.

Now, I "know" that the Bible says that there are 'familiars' from satan, upon the Earth, that may be considered as ghosts, and are evil, but, I have never encountered anything that is like that.

To me, its a bunch of hooey, and until I do experience it, I wont believe a word of it.

I wish you well..

there are many lifetime, universe, time frames, spectrum and dimensions we are not able to see. in the movie The Shadow there is a quote " the clouded mind sees nothing. " we are trapped in one plane of existence and can see only in this plane. however there may be numberless planes and dimensions living in the same space we are but unable to be seen because of certain limitations. we may experience at times a break through from one dimension to another giving us a glimpse of another dimension resulting in these occurrences you described.
