what do people out there think of mediums went to see one not sure what to think?

Someone trying to get attention in some cases. I like the ones that help the police catch killers or find bodies. 9 out of 10 are full of it though.

I know someone that goes monthly to see different mediums, and I discect the information that they tell me afterwards and I can usually determin whether they are fake or not. Sometimes very specific information is given, something that is only known between the deceased and the person the reading is for. I've watched the mediums on TV and they usually are specific.

I also believe that if the mediums are fakes, and information is gathered before hand, it would make them very sick people, playing with the emotions of loved ones of the deceased. I don't believe that those mediums who are on TV are, you can usually tell how genuine a person is, and mediums are usually open minded caring people who are trying to help people.

If the information was given to you and it was not vague, then chances are it was not a fake medium.

Look within. If the information helped you, then why would an evil spirit or a 'demon' want to help you? Some mediums are fakes that cannot be denied, but the real ones do not get exposed because they can't be exposed, for they are a link between this world and the spirit world.

I think there are some very good mediums out there, but for every good one there is 2 bad ones, the so called mediums that do nothing other than read your body signals. This is why I think people are so sceptical of mediums because we all can tell a tale about a bad experience, but good experiences, how many people want to know, or will even believe you. For a sceptic there will never be enough proof, but for a believer it is all there in front of you.

Many are scam artists, there's big money in spouting out psychological rubbish.

Then there are those who are genuine and pass on messages from a persons departed relatives. Who do it quietly without personal gain. Spirits are with the relative not the medium. They are not evil, unless you think all your relatives and friends who have crossed over to the spiritworld are evil. I would say they were no more evil than you are. If they can't get a message through to you because you are not open to them, they will wait until you are with someone who is open to them and can see/hear/sense them. Peace to you as one day you will find out for yourself when you become a spirit.

Tough call. There are a few that are what they claim to be, but, unfortunately, there are far too many out ther that are not. There are a great many fakes out there that are moer than willing to take you money, knowing full well that they are full ofsh...well you know, and because of them, it makes it harder for those that have legitimate abilites to be taken seriously. Especially when some of those that are fake gain fame and notoriety for biref periods of time.

Best bet is to go to two ro three and see if any of their answers jibeone wiht another. Also, if one of them does get something right, try a few more time to see if it was a fluke, or if they are legitimate. The only way to know is to test and see.

Don't be fooled by them. They are either fake or something a lot worse...
ECCLESIASTES 9:5 & 10 shows that the dead are unconcious
(in other words they are asleep in the ground until the resurrection (JOHN 5:28,29))

So, who are these mediums contacting?
- demons who are pretending to be dead people.
Once you involve yourself with demons you are in serious trouble

Don't say you haven't been warned!
Stay away from mediums or anyone else claiming to contact the dead.

Charlatans or self deluded, every one. If anyone had such an ability, all they would have to do would be to demonstrate it under critical scrutiny and they would walk away with the one million dollars offered by the James Randi Educational Foundation.

cynical attitude as I did a term paper for Sociology class and there were enough variations in the answers to the questions I asked for me to determine that there needs to be a definite cynical attitude towards them. there will be a certain amount of correct answers because of the law of averages but there will also be a number of wrong answers also. along with so many vague answers the receiver of these answers may determine the answer the way wanted.

I think they believe that they are helping people, some are totally fake, it's easy to make stuff up. Others are in communication with spirits, but not the dead, who cannot talk to us, they are in touch with evil spirits (demons) who are familiar with the departed and can give you facts about their lives to make you think you are talking to your dearly departed. Why would they do this? Because God forbids us to contact the dead and they will cruelly try to decieve you so you will disobey God. My friend used to contact these spirits, she went to a spiritualist church, but when she finally got called by Jesus, she never went back and knew that she had to stop contacting them, it felt evil to her.
