God is the author of the Bible. The men who wrote the Bible are just writers. These men just wrote what God told them to write.

40 men who wrote the Christian Bible, over a period spanning about 1445 B.C. to 96 A.D. Most knew nothing of the other writers, or had access to only a handful of writings.
Most of the original documents or letters have been destroyed, but good and numerous copies still exist.

The Bible has many writers, but one author, God. Some church fathers attested to the fact that they personally knew some of the writers.
I think Iraneous (sp?) said John wrote that book.

Some guys followed Buddha around and wrote down everything he said. We kno SIddhartha Gautama existed, he was a prince of India so the records of history record his name. These men were very well-trained sages and they recorded his words very accurately

Many many men were responsible for the writings of all holy books. There is no divine intervention. It's impossible to say today who really wrote these books, or parts of these books, but it definitely wasn't god.
