Ok, its useless to even try it.

I would bet that a lot of the "accounts" are duplicates...(people having more than one account, so that if they get "booted", they will have another, ready to go).

Now, on most internet servers, if you go "off line", when you come back on, you will have a different IP number! (I know, I was on a site where they showed the IPs and every time I went offline, mine was different!).

Now, as for people who have agendas, I agree with that. They will only keep those who "agree" with them and that, will negate any arguments, or different points of view that anyone else would have.

I do not see why people have the "right" to toss answers off of thier questions. Its discriminatory, and, it would serve no purpose. Everyones point of view is important. Its what makes Questions and Answers more flexible, because people get exposed to different points of views, and can make up thier own minds. Thats what the rating sytem is for, isnt it? To get the "best answer"??

I like the system as it is, at the present time.

I wish you well..

Jesse

If answers are censored or deleted by the asker, it sort of defeats the whole point of YA. They could maybe block a particular person if they had been very abusive previously, but the whole point is to have a few controversial answers, if every answer that somebody found offencive was deleted, there would be nothing left!
Best wishes.

Why not do as I have done and have more controversial correspondence over the e mail.
I don't mind legitimate Q's and Ans., but there shouldn't be abuse. I don't want to limit freedom of speech, as all can be done out of respect. The policing, I think, works well.

The asker shouldn't have the power. If answering questions can be abused, so can this power. They could deleted the answers of someone just because they don't like the person or just because they don't agree. IT'S WRONG!

I oppose an thing that hinders freedom of speech. The system is not perfect, but it is not broken either. Let Yahoo take care of abusers lest we become abusers ourselves.

If an asker can ban someone from answering his/her questions, then the question is not genuine.
