Ok well let me give you a guy's point of veiw on this.
Let say you beleive in God a little bit. If you have heard that when he created the earth he created adam. and to compnay adam he created eve. and the main reason he created was for adam to share his life with.
Relationships are quite important in life. without relationships it would impossible to actually have any one of us over here.
Love the very essence of life is kindled in relationship. Love can vary. It might be a motherly love or the love which comes out of a womans heart for her man.
Life as it big it is, would definately be a hard hurdle to overcome without a relationship. You can think of a relationship as someone who is beside you without any selfish reason to help you stand back up.
Of course all this could be acheived wihtout the help of any relationships. But then when your at the height of your glory whom will you share it with. All your life would seem a waste and your heart would know that deep down inside something is definately missing.
It never is a question of you finding the special one. It is the question of how you make a ordinary one a special one. Think about that my friend ;-) Have a nice day.

Well i think relationships are a fairly important part of life!! Mainly because everyone needs at some point in life to feel attractive and loved! And no matter how you end a relationship you always come out of it wiser in knowing what you will and will not accept from your partner. With each bad and good relationship you come out of you learn more about yourself and understand the process a little bit more.
Having a relationship is a rich thing but in my opinion if i never found "Mr Right" i wouldnt think my life was a waste.......You dont always need a partner to feel special or accepted
Like i said having someone you love sharing your life is great but having your life to yourself is also great in a different equal way.
Good luck with your answers!!

In the grand scheme of things life in itself isn't really that important. You can see that by looking at the history of the world as we know it.
What is important are the relationships (friendships, family) and the lives you touch along the way. You shouldn't define your life from the fact that you didn't have a relationship that worked out. Essentially, you may have many relationships in your lifetime and touching them and adding value in your own way.
You could be happy by yourself as long as your happy with yourself. From what I've seen, most people that are happy with themselves tend to find happiness with others.

I think relationships are very important but perhaps not in the same way as most people may think. A longterm relationship such as tht of a husband and wife i dnt believe is necessary for either party. even though with today's societal pressures it seems that we need to. These pressures also can cause problems for children as most families tend to have both parents still together. Probably confused myself here but in short in todays society yes relationships are important. However perhaps in different countries where the cultures are different then perhaps they arent as important. As humans though we definitely need relationships such as friends otherwise we probs would go crazy.

Yes, relationships are majorly important to me. Without them, I feel my life has very little meaning. I don't need material things...I need to know that I matter to someone. Here's MY rare moment of honesty...last year I wanted nothing more than to die...I wanted to die because no one gave a flighing f*ck about me. No one cared if I existed anymore. You don't know sadness until you've hit rock bottom and have no one to share it with except that silly face staring back at you in the mirror. So yeah, now that I have people who are important to me, I want to keep them. And as for that special someone, well, I was made to love. I have a heart that is pure and I want nothing more than to share it. I don't want a mansion or things to make me happy. I want to be loved and that's all I need to be happy.

Relationships are VERY important... but not all relationships have to be sexual in nature. I'm just as happy with my close family ties and a couple of close friends who'll stand by me. I don't even WANT to be married or in a permanent clinch with anyone. Our job on this planet is to develop our characters, not find a permanent squeeze.

Happiness is a state of mind. Can you only be happy with a mate?
There are countless people who are single yet they are happy. So, you just have to change your mindset, and you will be happy. There are also countless people who have mates or that special someone, yet they are unhappy.
What do you think now?

Humans were made to be with a companion. We want to go through life's experiences with somebody, share everything with someone else.
