Whether or not he has toys, he thinks this particular act is a game he's playing with you.

He just needs a little more training along with the TLC, like you say it is still a puppy, it will mature and then you will want the puppy back again.

Believe it or not, even with all is toys he is bored and wants human attention. Plus its fun for him. He is a puppy after all. Puppies are like toddlers, they repeat actions endlessly to get a reaction out of you.

Simply put...just like everything else its a baby, And it is normal for any animal, or person at that age to do out laddish things, try buying a tug-o-war toy or make one!

My dog is 8 and still does that. You don't know how many beds I have bought for him.
He also has toys. I take him for walks and play with him.

He's telling you that he hates sleeping in the laundry room and wants to sleep where everybody can see him like a king. You can get him to sleep near the door where it leads to the garage (NOT the big door). It worked with my small rat terrier.

he could be playing or maybe he's trying to tell you he doesn't like sleeping in the laundry room try moving his bed where he would be more comfortable and see if he still does it

I think he likes watching you pick it up and put it back. Just like kids like to drop things and see you pick it up for them so they can drop it again.
