Consider that there will be a Whirlpool bath, Shower,Double sink etc.

I like a large master bathroom. Plenty of room for you your stuff and making the bath a spa like envirnoment. I would go with at least a 10 x 10, maybe even bigger if you can do it.

First go visit a neighborhood filled with small houses measure those then subtract that from the one you have in mind. This will give you a reality check.Peoples homes today are filled with to much space,things and oh want thats. Oh and remember,these excessive size structures use up alot of natural resources and you have to maintain them.
