Does God's punishment happen even if you sin for the very first time? So quick like a thunder.

Lets face it, We ALL sin! There is none that is pure, except JESUS CHRIST.

The LORD will not "judge us" until we are dead.
Though, "we" know we sinned, and should repent of it, and even thank the LORD for our trials and tribulations, for they make us stronger in our FAITH!!!

(Yea, I know its a hard thing to do, thank HIM when everything looks bleak, but, its when you most rely on HIM, even though, you may not realize it! No one "needs" the LORD, it seems like, when things are going Great!).

The punishment for not accepting JESUS CHRIST as your Personal Saviour, and repenting all your sins and believing in HIM, and be "reborn" again, or baptised.....HE that took the sins away from the World so that you may live...

The punishment is eternal Hell and damnation!
(I sure am glad I gave my life to JESUS!).

I wish you well..

Jesse

We are born in sin, that is we are born with a sin nature inherited from Adam. Jesus says in John chapter 3, that ...."he that does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." This is the only sin that counts towards condemnation; therefore, if you do not believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior, then it makes no difference what else you do, you are going to hell. The only way out in this life is to believe and be baptized by the Holy Spirit. There is no way out of hell once you are there. There is no purgatory. No one can pray you into heaven. It is now or never. This may seem unfair, but I did not make the rules---God did.

None of us are sinless. We are all accountable for our sin. God hates sin. We may not see fire come down and devour us, because God isn't like this. But sin will be punished. The ultimate sin is the rejection of Jesus, which will give us eternal punishment.

...if you drive too fast and a traffic officer gives you a speeding ticket...but it happens to be your first offense...do you drive away without paying? ...you were born in sin...it doesn't mean God's gonna struck you down with lightening...God punishes those he loves...for punishment is like discipline...but the fruit of sin, is death...God is love, he doesn't look around for ways to get people killed...but for people to cross your path that will help you back on track! ...you see, God loves every one of us and he doesn't want anyone to be lost...yet, you have your own will and must choose...life or death(put very simply). When God forgives he also forgets, he's not like us!

I felt so chilled, when my blood was spilled; upon the barren rock. I'd washed ashore, to our God I implore; let a passing ship come dock. Battered and bleeding, it was help I was needing; but none was coming when I took stock. Why abandon me, thrown from the Sea; to an island dragging chains and lock. I hadn't sinned, I looked up and grinned; so it's me You choose to mock. I will never surrender, I am not a beggar; borrower; or lender; no matter how little time left on the clock.

ill answer your question if your bible bashing parents answer for making you a brainwashed God fearing Social malignant.

i am probably commiting roughly about ten sins just sitting here writing this, but i have good news for you! god is getting lousy with his lightning throwing technique.... that or he just plain doesnt exist.

Anyway the moral of this story is- sin is just somehing little ancient hitlers with a chip on ther shoulder invented because they felt like every one except them were having too much fun.

usually you sin many times but never get punished, on the other hand you sometimes get punished although you never sinned.
so the connection between "sin" and "God's punishment" is non existent.
make your own conclusions.

sin....what a word

harm to self...crime against other's will or benefit

to transgress

"god" is simply the other person saying No and not recognizing your authority to dominate or abuse them, and respecting themselves and you enough

to stop your religious attempt that dishonors both you and neighbor and stand up for themselves, humanity

sin...it's more than commands from 'god'

it's about loving yourself and others, or the lack thereof

as many carrib people will tell ya..

Rrrrrrresspect! Mon!

If God loves us so much, then why would he want to see us punished?

No God doesn't punish us, its just the quickest answer people can come up with to say why this or that happened.
