Could the reason why I can't lose weight be because of over-working myself? It's weird- in the past I've been able to lose weight on my days off, but on days that I go to work I don't lose anything. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm really frustrated because I gained 10 pounds.

I have done the same thing since we had our 2 children, but it is no excuse. We just need to push ourselves to work out and still do everything that we have to do.

i think the answer is you need to make youe mtabolism work with some exercise every 2/3 days as exercise raises it and burns more calories you could do this by walking more or i a lunch hour going for a walk/jog (if possible) or exercise on the way to work ie cycling.
this would help keep you mtabolism higher but you need to have a think about your work/life ethic as overworking will do you more harm than good and i guarantee you if you become ill from overworking the company will ditch you straight away so look after yourself first them second

May it's due to stress, Is your job stressing you out? If you work during the day a yogurt is good to take for lunch. For breakfast try a bowl of special K cereal with low fat Milk.. Just have one plate of food at dinner.. If you are diabetic you will also havae trouble losing weight.. It would be a good Idea to talk to your dr about a good weight lose program right for you..
For adult males - Multiply the body weight by 10; add double the body weight to this value.
[i.e., for a 150 lb male, 1,500 + (2 x 150)=1,800 cal/day BMR]
For adult females - Multiply body weight by 10; add the body weight to this value.
[i.e., for a 120 lb female, 1,200 + 120=1,320 cal/day BMR]

What kind of work do you do? If physical labor, maybe you gain muscle and therefore weight. If non-physical labor, maybe you are resting so much that you are not burning off the fat.

sometimes stress or frustration changes your metabolism in artificial and sugar rich foods, try vegetables, salad is good but NO FATTY ADD UP. u can lose weight and stay healthy.

you should also take A-Z vitamins to help your metabolism burn up fast , but it can also build an appetite , discipline is the key!

Maybe you don't eat regularly, usually late in the evening and you have a sitting job?
