Pine trees after a rain, or warm from the sun, my Mom's Devon Violets, her favorite perfume from England. Dad's lunch box when he took tuna sandwiches..he always came home with a little treat for me, and I remember the faint smell that remained. I smile when I think of it.
Coppertone suntan lotion, mixed with a bit of chlorine, old sneakers and the damp smell at the High School swimming pool. Mom's fresh made bread. Last, the smell of the stables at the riding academy , horse manure,LOL, but I loved going there!

Fresh baked bread, I used to walk past the bakers on the way to school. On the way home we would go to the back of the shop and buy a bag of stales. These were cakes and scones that were not as fresh as they should have been and cost an old penny for a bag.
Would let them do that today with all the regulations!
Gosh I'm showing age

raw meat, cut grass, the air after a thunderstorm and horse manure. All these remind me of my childhood for different reasons. The raw meat reminds of of visiting the butcher with my mum when I was little and I always wanted to be a butcher. The cut grass reminds me of summer holidays when I had 6 weeks to run wild, the air after a thunderstorm reminds me of thundery days when my mum used to hide under the stairs cos she frightened of lightening and we played monopoly instead of watching TV and the horse manure reminds me of when I loved to go riding and went to lessons every weekend and went to shows... ah the good ole days

The smell of the atmosphere when it's going to rain reminds me that
when I was liittle, I was afraid of thunders.... So, every time my nose had caught this smell, I was running to hide somewhere in the house where I was feeling safe and secure.

There is a beautiful flower I smelt once, and got the horrible reminder of the gas dentists use (not the nitrous).
