That is the beauty of the human condition. We can all have different opinions and feel the need to voice them.
Religion does not start wars or create serial killers etc. It may give a peg to hang harmful desires on, but anything can do that. Remove religion from the mix and see what pops up next......
Could be blond haired people for example....
We are an eclectic mix of psychosis ridden people- the human race.
Sorry but that is the way it is!

I'm a Christian and i agree with you to a point. Religion does start wars, yes it can create serial killers (although that is a bit extreme).
But why should I keep my opinion to myself? That would be selfish. The world would be worse that it is now. Think about it your country is based on biblical principles. Don't murder, don't steal, and so on. Ok so we get rid of those rules. Where would we be?
Also if you had the solution to a deadly virus like Aids wouldn't you share it with the world? Or would you only keep it for yourself and your friends and family?
The same goes for the deadliest illness in the world. Its been around for thousands if not millions of years, and has killed billions upon billions of people. And it kills millions every single day. That illness is sin. It destroys lifes, breaks marriages down, kills children, steals, murders, rapes, hates, lies, causes war. What if you had the solution to that illness would you share it?
Well I do know the solution His name is Jesus. Why would i not want to share his message of Hope, salvation, and forgiveness to the world? I mean He's the ONLY solution to Sin.
Should I then keep this mesage to myself? What would you do?

Because sharing this knowledge is Gods Order...
Most wars are not fought for serving God but for occupuing a land or increasing the community or coming to power.
These athiest leaders dress themselves as Religious leaders and cheat other.
Any way Even without Religion Crime will be there. You think the murderer and Thieves and Rapists are religious?
Athism preaches to do what every you like as there is no God and no Heaven or Hell.. This life is final and if its enjoyment is getting hindered do what every you like. That what athism concludes to.
Can you even imaging what the world would be without Religion?

You got it, honey! Believe as you like, better yet practice what you preach. If we believe in a religion (whatever it is) of love and forgiveness -- that's what we should do -- love and forgive, and as a small aside -- give to the poor. Give books and pencils and enough food to live for another day. My beliefs will not fill some child's belly, neither will they help a child learn a trade. But $10 might make a difference.

Then don't ask the questions but maybe, just maybe other people have valid points you hadn't thought of, which may help to shape the way you feel. If every-one was born with set opinions we would be in a sorry state today.

hi, merely because you have not got self belief or never will have self belief in love does not make LOVE an unreal concern. For you, love in step with risk a humdrum concern, yet I assist you to recognize, love hits you once you're least arranged and this can be the turning element on your life the place your eyes would be open to work out the wonders works of the concern noted as love.

have a point but to learn and teach provides wisdom and knowledge. Religion is so diverse as long as people are willing to discuss their different viewpoints and not argue such discussions help us all learn and grow in these areas. the main thing is to respect everyone Religious Belief System as we would want ours to be respected. i may not agree with you but i will defend with my life your right to believe the way you do.

I don't want other people's loony religious views imposed on me any more than the next man... but I do think we should all feel able to *discuss* them. Progress and the search for truth are greatly assisted by free speech and free discussion.

If you find a path to enlightenment and eternal bliss surely it would be selfish to keep it to yourself. Like it says somewhere in the bible (probably) ye shall be exalted among the heathens if thou goest forth and spreadeth words of great joy that are efficacious to improving the lot of humanity.
