über (or "ueber" if your keboard does not allow you to make those dots over the u).
German word which can mean several things: above, over, atop, higher than.
You often encounter "uber" (often without the Umlaut dots on the U) in English where it is used to describe people or things that are almost superhuman or superior to other things.
This use of "ueber/uber/über" appears to go back to the idea of "Uebermensch" based on the philopsoher Nietzsche's theory of a higher human being. The Nazis used and abused(!) this idea and promoted the absurd idea of the "Germanic races" as being superior to any other races.
Hope this helps!

You got the meaning of "ueber", uber is not a German word.
Now the spelling:
The 2 dots over some German vowels are NOT for decoration.
On an English keyboard you replace the dots by putting an "e" behind the vowel.

The word Uber in German means, in English, over, on top of, above. The word came into English usage through its use by the Germans in WWII from their phrase UBERMENSCH, or in English, literally OVERMEN, but more usually translated colloquially as Supermen, coming from the idea of the Aryans as a "master race".
