Your young get an education then you'll have the money later to have things in life. Life is hard for everyone but doing the right things when your young can make it easier later.

I felt the same at 22 I am now 10 years older and things are looking very well for me. I have a book deal pending and am in talks with TV companies. It was not until my late 20's that I found any kind of direction in my life. Some of the greatest people have a period of downtime in their life before they get on with what they might really enjoy doing.
A famous beat writer Charles Bocowski (Spelt wrong) was 50 before he had anything published. George Orwell had a period of living on the streets before he was.
NOt saying that you will become a writer or anything just saying don't dispare 22 is still very young and you have years left to find you way and start doing something that you will really enjoy.

i was going to spare you the whole 'you've got a whole life ahead of you' speach but seriously you're young, and greater things can come than you would have even expected if you just give them a chance. sure, there will be disappointments in life, there are for everybody. for example, i thought all my dreams had ended 2 years ago when my fiance left. i never gave up and kept pressing on and now i am living a more exciting life w/ more incredible people than i had ever thought would come. look beyond the immediate suckiness and keep pressing on. with every stumbling block, there's always a corner to turn around. Christ woldn't want you to give up. if you have a Bible, read Romans 10 and Psalm 77. Actually all the Psalms are good.

You're only 22, why in the world would you give up already. Everyone has something in their life that they would love to do, it is a matter of how you act on it. If you choose to sit quietly and just look for pity then you'll never get better. Life is all about choices, nothing is just handed to you. Drugs are not the answer, I fail to see it any different. You just need to open your eyes, be an adult and fight for what you want. You can do what ever you want, but you must first choose to act.

First of all, at age 22 you should relax because you have a lot of your life in front of you. You can try different things and even if you fail or don't reach your goals, try something else. It is the "trying" or attempting that is important.
Love your self and do not look at your life too harshly. Just keep talking to your self and say: " I can do this."

there seems to be a problem nagging u which is at the back of ur mind and u are not willing to get it to the forefront.i had been through the same thing and now its my experience speaking.jsut talk yourself out.open up with that specific problem and then u will see how your life changes.reading through this u will definitely feel as if there is no such thing.even i used to.but the truth is the truth, face it.solve the tension and then automatically goals will arise and the desire to fulfill them also.so chill and take my advice if u find it worth your problem.

Have you tried breaking your goals down into more manageable steps? Try making several small goals that can be accomplished in 6 months or less. Accomplishing the smaller goals will encourage you to do the other steps necessary to get where you want to be. Good luck.

ok listen - you are way too young to give up. you sound depressed. when you set goals - set one at a time. like - what is the most important thing. if you say want a job - remember you will not get what you want until you pay your dues - take some crap jobs. if it's love you want - that'll come. i would get into some kind of supportive therapy. you could only benefit from it. don't give up yet. i have been there - the - it's too hard - nothing works deal. please give yourself a break. and if there are people pushing you - tell them to shut up.......you take care sweetie - things will get better....

Your goals were not the purpose of your life. You are here to feel a peace, love and happiness that is much better than what you have imagined. See this site all about you and your happiness. Do not forget-- "Even in your darkest hour I do not abandon you."
