This is for any of the Christians and Muslims and anyone else who are so full of anger without reason and who say hateful things about people you don’t even know. Hatred and anger are not part of the path to the Supreme Being, Allah, God, Jehovah, whatever your native language is for that which none of us can even begin to comprehend. We are all on different paths to the same goal. If you would empty your hearts of hatred and fill them with love for humanity, you might stop some of the senseless killings that are committed in the name of the most Holy. Instead of making nasty comments and displaying an ignorance of basic history, other cultures and the premises of other religions, open your minds to information; stop making rash judgments without researching facts. Try going to a library and read about that which you object to. If you insult someone, that person will take offense, just as you will take offense if someone insults you.
Can you sit quietly and look into your heart?

Can you pray and ask for wisdom? Can you rationaly explain to me why you hate someone you have never met and has done you no harm? I cannot even hate the terrorists who murdered my husband in front of our home. If I did, I would be worse than they. God’s message is not one of fear and bitterness and hate. Those come only from the hearts of men and women who will not stop to think. Try a minute of peace. You might like it.
This site should be a forum for discussion, not vindictive.

I am a muslim and i don't hate any follower of any other religion or even non-believers. I love human beings from any race or religion as long as they ACT as human beings. Your words are absolutely right, i just wish people understand that. But it seems that people like us are fewer and less loud than the others, and it seems that they will live in hate and die with hate, coz i think the main reason for their hatred and anger is not religion, but there are some people who exploit the anger and hatred and release it through religious bullshit.
But execuse me ma'am, if someone killed one of my loved one, i can't forgive that, or say that i can't hate them, i will kill the damn terrorists and i ll be happy that they burn in hell..

This is a very complicated situation... Some religions actually preach that its followers must do their best to convert the 'disbelievers' and so on. This leads to the clerics and other preachers of the religion encouraging ideology such as detest for the west.
One other reason for the breeding of this 'hatred' is, the emergence of fundamentalism and fundamentalist ideologies. Also, most religions preach and state that the 'disbelievers' and 'infidels' will rot in 'hell' or another such punishment venue...
This type of preaching and talking unintentionally creates a sense of hatred. For example, if you had grown up in a country which practiced Wahabism (which is the most extreme form of Islam), you would be led to believe that the 'infidels' and 'unbelievers' are wrong. That they are corrupt. The women are whores. And so on, I think you get my drift. Due to the indoctrination, you actually come to believe it.
Then you become a parent. And you feel, and society implies, that the western 'infidels' will corrupt your children and so on and so forth, need I go on? Right. This leads to a build up of hatred in you, because the western 'infidels' pose the threat of corrupting your children. And remember that for this, you and your children, could rot in 'hell'
Also most religions are intolerant; there is only one way to do things and anyone who wishes to do anything differently, must be dealt with, swiftly. Hence, many people were burned at the stake by the Catholic Church in medeaval times.
In summary, all religons preach and or encourage all or at least one of the following: Racism, Sexism, Extremism and intolerance.
Buddhism is not considered here, as it is a philosophy and not a religion, however it also has such tendencies, although the Buddha was against all of the above.
All in all, all religions are to blame. And if God really wanted to have a religion, there would be one and only one religion. Religion is man made. Because men are inclined to having something to depend on... From birth, it is the mother and father, then the school, then the government and all in all, in religion. It has been created by men to provide men themselves with security.
Remember this: If something were not of God's plan, then we would not even be able to conceive it. If something were of not of God's plan and we were to conceive it, it would be testament to the fact that we are stronger and more powerful than god, at least, that god is less powerful than the religions claim him to be.
In essence, believe in god, but not in people telling you how to live your life...

It is true that Jehovah's Witnesses are not loved by everyone.
http://jw-media.org/newsroom/human_rights.htm
Some people hate Jehovah's Witnesses out of ignorance, or over some misunderstanding. A few may have had a bad personal experience with an individual who claimed to be a Jehovah's Witness, and prejudicially extended their animus to this entire Christian religion.
However, it seems that the majority of anti-Witness hatred is motivated by religious intolerance and bigotry. A few may even be motivated against their Christian worship by the unseen 'god of this system of things', Satan the Devil.
(2 Corinthians 4:4) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers
Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

Your so right, hate only breeds more hate, then violence. Not all people hate, weather their religious or not. As a Christian we are suppose to hate the sin and NOT the sinner.
We are all human and to put all Muslims or any other group of people together and say we hate them is wrong. I am so sorry to hear about your husband, I can't imagine how that would affect me. Truly my heart aches for you and what you must be going through. Because of hate you lost your husband and I understand why you would ask such a question, I'm sorry but we all don't hate.

I can't talk for the rest of christianity but I don't hate Muslims or Jews or wathever your religion is.
I think that you are talking about Islams.Or whatever people of Iraq believe in I truly disgust the actions taken by Taliban and those religions that force their religion down others.
I know that people will say but christians did it only a few hundred years ago. The mistake they make is that these people that calls themselves christians is not considered christians in my religion.
The people I'm speaking of is the catholics. I don,t believe in the pope as wathever he claims to be.
As trying to say is just that it is true what you say, love for your fellow human being is the main subject for most religions so people should just love each other.

I totally agree, and you have said it beautifully, i think that it is our intolerance and lack of understanding that has created all the problems, i do not think that we are just at all, when it comes to trying to understand others believes, so basically the problem lies within us, as far as i know no religion teaches hatred, the message of all religions is love and that's what attracted people to it in the first place. I wish we all would just try to understand each other more and refrain from passing comments.

I don't hate anyone who chooses to follow whatever faith they choose.
The Qur'an says "There is no compulsion in religion. Truth stands out clear from error" Chapter 2:Verse 256
I do dislike ignorant idiots who hate Islam for no logical reason and imagined grieviences. You will find NO Muslims, out of the 25 million questions asked in Yahoo Answers EVER talking insultingly of Jesus Christ (p).
Can we say the same about others and their (wrong) views on Islam and Prophet Muhammed (p)?

I only hate people who insist on pushing their religion or points of view on me. So is it really the other religions that are hated, or the persons representing these religions as the only way to go and the wish to convert by force if necessary?

who cares how each individual prays to THE HIGHER POWERS. there are many different Religious Belief Systems and variations. if I want my personal Religious Belief System to be respected then I'm in return, must respect everyone Else's Religious Belief System in return for all have the free will and right to worship as they choose. what right do I have to condemn anyone for then I would then be condemned myself.
