I had iron deficiency induced anemia, it came on slowly,, dizziness,, loss of memory,, trouble concentrating. I took An iron supplement,, 300mg (65mg elemental iron) and it was gone in 2 days. also take a multi vit and a B-vit multi vit that has thiamin and b12 in it.

Eat dark green leafy veg such as kale, cabbage etc at the same time as vit C rich foods (most fruit and veg) as this is required for iron absorption. Dried apricots and figs are also good iron sources.
Floradix make a fantastic iron supplement, which is all natural, easily absorbed and does not cause the constipation and black stools that normal iron supplements do.
Do not drink tea at the same time as eating as it inhibits iron uptake.

Many foods have iron (e.g. lentils), but it has low absorbtion. If you have indeed anaemia, you must eat meat or take supplements. The supplements must be taken for a few months, the few days will do nothing. See a doctor.

The very thought of you
Makes my heart sing
Like a soft gentle breeze
Blowing in the midst of spring.

Image

Like the touch of a rose
Just as soft as your kiss
As I sit here so quietly
And begin to reminisce.

Image

Lonely without you
Like a bird without song
Knowing your arms
Is where I belong.

Image

I see your face in flowers
Your eyes in stars above
Every thought of you tells me
I’m very much in love.

Image

Though happy or sad
Beside you I’ll stand
Walking by your side
While holding your hand.

Image

Praying that our love
Will remain a burning flame
The love I have for you
You will someday proclaim.

Image

You’re someone very special
I hold close to my heart
Never wanting our love to end
Never wanting for us to part.

Image

But, if in this lifetime
You say our love is through
You’ll find etched upon my heart
The words, “P.S. I Love You!”

The spinach thing is a myth...it does have iron in, but in equal proportions as other dark, leafy vegetables.
