Just discovered this CD called "I can make you thin" by Paul McKenna and I was wondering if anyone has tried it.

I bought the tape in 1993 and transferred it to MP3 format recently. As with all hypnosis (or self hypnosis) they only help as part of your own motivational power.

You have to want to succeed yourself. Such a tape, or CD can help you as part of a calorie controlled diet. Also it can help maintain your motivation to stop smoking, if your will power is weak.

I rarely use it to help with weight loss. I usually use the tape to help relax if I need any help. I find that half an hour of light hypnosis (or power sleep), can boost your residual energy and peace for that day. It can also turn you from an angry psychopath into a calm and collected Buddhist monk in half an hour.

To lose weight, a person has to reduce the calorie intake by some amount by modifying their diet. A diet without sufficient nutrients will only increase the appetite of the person trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan, additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles required to increase the metabolic rate required for long term weight loss. With fava beans and a nice chianti. I lost two stone. Get off the computer and exercise - you could try walking down to the Virgin megastore to buy that Paul McKenna CD.
