Some cat foods contain carrots and other veg, so they do eat them that way. Eating carrots on their own is a bit weird, but then again, I once had a cat that stole all the tomatoes off the top of a quiche!

Different but not off the charts for a cat. Some cats just get a taste for something and don't care that they are supposed to be meat-eaters. As long as you don't try to make a vegetarian out of him it's OK. Treats and human food shouldn't be more than 5% of a cats diet.

That is weird! Maybe it was a rabbit in another life, ha, ha. Seriously though I've had cats all my life and never saw anything like that. I don't see anything wrong with it. Carrots are good for you. They probably are for cats too.

Actually a lot of canned cat food contains carrots in it.It's good for their sight=)

My cats won't eat them, but my Seal point Siamese loves Mandrian oranges. My Flame point saimese won't touch human food at all. We don't give our bengal any human food because she gets mean about her food and bites. I'd say your cat is normal. well, if there is such a thing as a normal cat. At least you know they'll have good eye sight!!!

No.I had a cat that couldn't resist corn on the cob. Cats do like to have some veggies. Healthy for them if its not their main food.

I don't think its weird that your cat likes carrots. My cat loves carrots, cheese and vegemite. My other cat loves spaghetti as well as vegemite.

A lot of animals like humans have diffrent tastes .
Eg my cat eats pizza, garlic bread and sweetcorn.
