legal cases about London parking tickets?

There are some. I have succssfully appealed a few times against parking tickets. The neatest was when there was a parking meter round the corner and the bay i parked in had no signpost at all, it was on its own (near Finsbury Park). The council ticketed me for parking in a residents' parking bay. I satisfied them that there was no basis they could justify claiming that it was a residents' bay.

I wonder if they've put a sign up in the meantime?
