I'd say that the initial coincidence has caused you to selectively alter your original recollection of the dream to fit what actually happened. Dreams are notoriously wispy things, and they often change as you're telling them to yourself and others. It is a basic psychological mechanism, hardwired into your brain, to find patterns and connections between anything, even though there is none there (that's the neurosystem that makes you see Goofy in the clouds, for instance.)
In other words, the memory of a dream is highly malleable.
This adjustment of memory to fit later events can be quite shocking and real and give strong senses of deja vu, but had you actually written down the dream to the best of your ability right after you dreamt it, you would see that the dream only bears a passing resemblance to actual events. (Had you written the dream down, you had also locked it into your memory and not even had this experience.)

Sometimes things which are unexplainable occur. The real question is - so what? How is this relevant? If anything, you can rest in the assurance that death is not the end of life. Sounds to me like your late father gave you a gift. But remember - it was still a dream. Now if you were awake and this happened, it would be something MUCH MUCH different.
Don't live in a dream world - live in the real world. And congratulations on the birth of your son. I'm sure grandpa would be happy. ;-)
Peace to you

I wouldn't say this is rape but it could have easily lead up to it. I'm glad you got away from him when you did because he's obviously not all there to be acting that way. And you would have been in real danger if you'd stayed longer. You were just in a bad relationship with a loser. Just use this knowledge to make better boyfriend choices in the future and never ever allow someone to touch or kiss you if you don't want them too. Don't ever be afraid to tell someone in authority that you need help. Stay strong.

No doubt your experience is very peculiar, but have you considered a more radical approach?
I have heard of a mental state of which a person feels that he has been through the day before, relates it to a dream, or a thought. It does not mean insanity though. I am sure many people have have gone through this before.
Anyway, do not worry, check out with a doctor first and then if you like to, consult a religious practitioner.

I think that's called precognition - the ability to see how the future will unfold. Your father, a figure in that dream, is necessary as an authoritative symbol for you to listen and remember that dream. If you're an Atheist its time for you to move on believing and considering something else might be at work here.

sounds incredible.also sounds true.how can anyone explain something that is predicted and then comes true.some say that sleep is the twin sister to death.maybe there is another world on another level that we as being earthbound can not see or even imagine. I would pay very close attention to my dreams if I were you.they seem very interesting.maybe you have a lot of 2's in your life. the #2 is the number of dreams and intuition so pay attention.don't be scared, just pay attention.#7 is also a number that has spiritual overtones as well.

If God didn't reveal that to you then probably you subconsciously recreate your dreams by flying to the country and the hospital suggested and everything happened as you saw it

Some dreams are prophetic and some are just coincidental. If you believe they are coincidental then they are. Same as prophetic dreams. I won't worry too much about that as long as it has no major bad effect on you.

from my understanding and what i have been taught ...
during sleep we travel .. it is only our body that sleeps , not our spirit
seems you have had a wonderful travel and have been informed during that travel by your father all about the arrival of your baby
amazing ... wonderful and lovely story you have here
but i am not surprised ... because i know how amazing and wonderful spirit can be !
take joy in knowing that your father is still with you even in death xxx
