I'd approach the companies that are most likely to do it, the ones that need advertising or advertise hard themselves, explain to them what it is and see. Or maybe go to one of the motoring channels and see whether they'd want to? Then you may get coverage on tv!
Red Bull would be great, I bet they would consider it, as its a fair distance you're travelling and I know they advertise on cars - I've seen a mini and a bettle with red bull splattered up the side. (Plus you may get a free crate, which would probably come in really useful!). If it was me, I'd contact them, they can either say yes, or no, but they might have suggestions if they say no.
Might be worth going to 'business link' (search on google) as they offer free business advice and would probably be able to help you more than me.

Have a fancy bash and charge for admission its great fun and you raise money in the process

Ask any local charities for them to sponsor you. a your doing it for a good cause and b you could be in a local paper!
