As mentioned before, embassy security is handled by the Diplomatic Security Service. US Marines also provide additional security at some (not all) diplomatic posts, but they also are under the supervision of DS. None, unfortunately.
I was a Marine Corps Embassy Guard. We were headed up by the State Department, who were known as the Regional Security for that Country. Then there were "local guards." They were the host country's own special police force designated to guard the outside perimeter of the Embassy that we Marines guarded from the walls inward.

just to give some idea if you qualify family member 36 yrs years old former 1st LT U.S Marine Force recon 4yrs there... 4 yrs college 1 yrs US Federal Protective service, 1yr US Postal inspector, 3 as deputy US Marshal,,, applied to Dept of State Diplomatic security Service was turned down good luck
