I have only shaved it as I am afraid when I pull the wax strip off my scrotum will strech beyond repair.

Don't try that. Think logically. You're putting HOT wax on your... nether regions and then you're gonna RIP everything out by the roots. I'm cringing and I don't even have one of those!
Try a product along the lines of Nair or Neat rather than ripping anything out by the roots in such a sensitive area.
tainted, two things I haven't heard of. 1) Cancer from waxing? 2) A gynecologist for men?

Unless you're risking to have cancer or some serious wounds you should stick to just shaving it. I remember the American Pie where he accidentally glued his member and can't take his hands off.
To answer your question, try to get your legs waxed and imagine it was your groin. Defnitely it would hurt right? If you're really serious about it, ask your doctor to apply an anaesthetic first hahaha. Kidding, there are hair removing products out there. Ask your gynecologist of one that would work for you.

I know when I get my eyebrows done I whine like a 2 year old, I can't imagine why you would want to put yourself through the agony. Do you enjoy pain? Either go to a professional, keep shaving or just let it go, man.

my partner shaves his because of his religious faith, but dont think he has ever waxed it, ouch!!!! ( a gynaecologist for men i have not heard of)
