Look at the Education department/category. In too many questions, there are misspelled words; often simple words are spelled wrong. Is it their lack of typing skills? Is it our Teachers? Is it lazy student learning habits? Is it my fault?

In my opinion, teachers.

I had a salesman, who's son was in second year College. He brought an essay to show me with the grade B.

I could hardly decipher the spelling. I casually mentioned it. I was informed that the grade was on content, not grammar.

When I was in school, points were deducted in Math for grammar errors, even if all the math was perfect.
