My mom died and left her the will. She kept all of the insurance money and refuse to share with the other heirs. She lives out of town and do not talk with her family because she knows she has been unfaithful to us. The will specifically states to share with her brothers and sisters. My mother also told her the same thing before she died. Now she wants the home too and all of the heirs has a share in it too. Any suggestions.

This is a very uncomfortable situation for everyone, especially at this sad time. Did your mom have an estate attorney that drew up her will? If so, contact him/her and ask for advise. Sounds like you'll probably end up in court with your sister on the opposite side of the rest of the family, but if these issues were your mom's dying wishes, then shame on her for not respecting them in the first place. Have you tried to talk to your sister about this and ask what her reasons are for doing something so hurtful to the rest of the family? Try having a calm conversation with her first and find out what information you can, then if you still feel it's necessary to contact an attorney, try to get your other siblings behind you. Please try to resolve this quickly and calmly, I don't see a healthy relationship between your sister and the rest of your family for a while if things aren't handled carefully. Best of luck to you and my condolences at this difficult time to you and your family.
