It is not possible, but you can become enamored with who this person is (or appears to be). Don't get mixed up between love, infatuation, or fascination. True love is knowing the other and choosing to love them regardless. Not loving them unseen, or having never seen their downside and attitudes on a bad day. Text is carefully worded to give the "perfect" answer, conversation on the phone hides the expressions of the face and body gestures. There is far too much left unknown to claim love just yet.

Yes i fell in love with my boyfriend after meeting him online and chatting online and on the phone for hours. We have met in real now and it was even more amazing than i could have imagined. We are now planning to spend the rest of our lives together. Should it matter how u meet if u know how u feel. Good luck i hope ur relationship blossoms like mine did. x

sort of, you can have very very strong feelings, however true love can not be there for that person might not actually exist as they claim to be.
you may have fallen in love ok, but it may be with a slim blonde how is 23 with an hour glass figure, who loves to drink beer and watch soccer, where as in reality she may be 86, fat as a pig no hair, 100 kids and hate soccer. or she may even be a child of 10.
so you may be in love with the person you have in your mind and you are, but that person may not really be there, so its only sort of .... sorry to put a downer on it all.

i would stop short of saying 'fallen in love with'. maybe say that you have developed feelings for this person over time that are worthy of taking to the next level (ie: meeting in person), then give things some time & see what developes. everyones in such a rush to fall in love that they go in blindly, &/or too fast.

Yes, that's how I met my man (soulmate).
But it was via a cellphone.
I fell in love with the person (personality) not his looks but for who he is.
Be very careful, there crazy people out there.
GOOD LUCK!!!

Yes it happens and you would fall out love easily too. So it is harmless. Just enjoy it.
