Blood clots are caused by various problems, such as poor circulation or even by injuries, and are sometimes controlled by medicines such as heparin. Whether or not she needs to continue the medications is controlled by many factors, weight, activity or even varicose veins, etc. Sticky blood to you means a rapid clotting time to me and we can manage it by using those medicines...but we need to check from time to time to be sure that she has the right amount. Certainly the blood clots complicate the pregnancy but under good medical supervision, neither your mother nor the infant is in great danger.

Judging by what you have said, and your mum being the one to have been poorly I would say yes there is a possiblity that you could die from sticky blood, but with the right medication, I guess you could be spared it.

There is no such disease as sticky blood. She is being given antigoagulants because of blood clots. If she continues on the medication, delivery without hemorrhage is tricky for the mother.

I should imagine that your mum is going to be fine. They give drugs called diaretics the blood to people with your mother's condition. However, it does increase the risk of something going wrong if she has an operation. I wouldn't worry though, I'm sure it'll all be fine.

Yeh definately she be fine, as the medications shes been given will make the blood thinner, and as long as she taking them she be fine, dont worry! There have been cases on the net where people have been taking blood thinner tablets since they were in their teens and now they are in the 60s, so chill! :-)

Keep a positive attitude.
Your mother is receiving meds for her condition and I do not believe that the sticky blood is affecting the baby.
There is nothing that you can do but to be as pleasant and supportive as possible to your mother.

If she's on medicine now - which I'm assuming is Warfarin - and manages it well - then she'll be absolutely fine. Don't worry.
