I personally am totally in favour of Jamies campaign. However, as the recent backlash proves, you cannot save/satisfy everyone.

I beleive Jamie should give up totally on the people that wish to fight him, as at the end of the Day, its only the health of themselves and their kids that will suffer - if they want crap food, let them have it....

Jamie is a hero....he says what all sensible people think....all power to him.....he would be justified in giving up.....i hope people help him instead of beating him down.....i wish the numbskull hypocritical press would leave him alone, or help him in his campaign.

I think Jamie has done an absolute wonder for school dinners!!
I don't he should back down now - people always fight change. The majority of children actually enjoy the new school menus, including my 5 year old daughter!!

I agree with you on both counts but I would prefer that he carried on trying!
To my way of thinking, if more people have a healthy diet less people will need to use the NHS and less money will be made by fast food companies who only care about profit and not about our kids!
These days some parents care less about their kids health than their own convenience. AND THAT IS WRONG!!!!

Surely in our politically correct socity the chavs now takeing chips to the school gates could be prosecuted for child abuse? Or get an asbo at least?
Whatever happened to the free choice to poisin and beat your kids?

People love to be fat and unfit. The only way to stop bad food is to outlaw them from shops.
