My telly died last week and I just have an ancient portable which at the moment I can't connect to freeview or my DVD player. Is there some kind of adapter that might help me out a bit?

oh yes go to any good electrical store/maplins and you can get one they are not expensive.

u can buy a conection that will conect a scart lead to an older model tv i have one any good electrical store should stock them

Adapters are available. See the previous posts. Anyhow, having no tele does have its benefits, if you know what I mean :-)

yes, but they are very large, and rather annoying, they do exist,but i dont know that your telly or dvd will accept
it
