Try searching for grief counseling and see if they are listed under that. Also try using the spell check option before posting. This is how to spell bereavement.

I truly am not sure any more of the sequence, but some are.

Blaming themselves. Guilt.

Denial.

Forgiveness of the person who died for whatever and yourself for being unable to do anything about their death.

Needless to say profound sadness If this was someone truly close. But once you reach forgiveness, Say it out loud. And amazingly the pain will go away. It took 14 months before I finally said goodbye to my Mother. So you can see it will just take time and everyone is different.

A persons grief cannot be rushed. But if prolonged they need someone to listen. Just listening helps purge the grief. There truly isn't much you can say. Just be supportive. And slowly encourage them to move on with their life.

If they are not allowed to move through the grief, depression will generally follow.

If you pray, prayer is very helpful.

Good Luck.
