Any out of boby experience is laced with bizare visions that don't usualy mean anything. The prophets and religious leaders of old just saw visions, not reality. The proper interpretation is forever lost and was most likely not even understood by the "dreamer". Yet they were so engrossed by the vividness they were compelled to write them down. Just like anyones dream diary today.

Which verse describes the beasts as "ghastly". Just because an image may be foreign to us does not mean that beauty cannot be found therein.

It doesn't!

In the early days of Christianity, the believers were persecuted and killed.
Most were not literate, and the leaders communicated messages to the other churches in code, so as to not be found.

Revelation is a series of coded messages, so to trying to interpret it into literal terms is futile. It does have a beauty in many of the texts, and many affirmations of Christ's teachings. But please be careful when you try to take it literally.

The Bible calls us to try to understand. Jesus spoke in parables to ask us to question what He said.

There is a totality of truth in the Bible.

If you have questions, I would suggest you join a group who studies the texts in the original language.

Because in heave are angels, seraphims and cherubims who serve and worship God. They are also messenger for human kind, like Gabriel to Mary and many others, also protecting the childs of God. The angels are encamped around they that fear God. It is written in Pslams. You can read more about that in Isahia 1.
