The truth has no religion! So none, than again, all religions do come from the truth or our innertruth if you like it's that the road back is not the same. Truth is a very strange (mental) property, whenever you think you see it it shifts or fades or just quits leaving the space/room to a more familiar reality.
I'm not surprised that Buddhism blows you away because it doesn't claim to be a religion. Though the good or pure parts of Judaism, Christianity and Islam definitely appeal to me as well. Not to mention that Hinduism is good news too in its bare essence, but like Judaism is only for Jews, Hinduism is there for Hindus. Buddhism is much based on Hinduism, but is open to all.
The truth is also different for everyone. Basically that is all we have to acknowledge and respect.

If you read Buddhism and feel completely blown away, then you should by now understand that Truth is something that is subtle and profound. Religions and spiritual teachings are nothing but fingers pointing to the moon. The moon is the truth and the fingers are just there to guide us to the truth (moon). Religions and spiritual teachings are guides. None of their teachings are even close to the truth. But when we understand the teachings and follow them, then we will see the truth.
What we are actually face today is that people start to see the fingers pointing to the moon as the moon itself. Just like we see our religions as the bearer of truths. Once again religions are just guides. But when we are deluded by our own ignorance and start to see the fingers as the moon itself, we begin to condemn other religions as false and a heresy. Thus conflict arise.
I believe all religion can lead us to the truth. But history has shown that we have made much alteration to the teachings of our religions, be it Christianity, Islam, etc and even Buddhism. And this actually distorts the truth-pointing. Last time the finger is pointing at the moon. But now it's pointing somewhere else as the moon.
The solution is to ask yourself which religion you feel most comfortable with. If you feel Buddhism is good, then go ahead. But what you really need is the intelligence to understand its teachings. Or else, you will just distort the truth even if the truest truth is right in front of you.
By the way, I assume you have heard of the "Finger pointing to the moon" metaphor.

Islam.
Learn Islam from the right source and you will see the light. Just ask the convert.
Unfortunately, due to bad publicity and the irresponsible few, Islam always be the last religion people will only look into after going through all religions.
You decide your own faith, don't totally believe what others say, do your research. Learn Islam with an open mind and you will see the truth.

I think that for you to get a true answer to this question you must read what is in God's word. God's word is the Bible...nothing added nothing taken away. Only the Bible, no additional books scrolls, teachings handed down from generation to generation.
If you are searching for the truth you must pick up the Bible and read of God and his Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit, then you will know for yourself what is true. Never trust what man has told you for there are false teachers out in the world today. Believe with your heart, mind, and soul and you will find what you seek.

No faith based religion is true or can even be a path to the truth. If faith is all that it takes for something to be true then that means all religions are true and this is impossible.
If you must pick a religion, Jainism or Buddhism are probably the least harmful to society.
But look into the philosophy of Secular Humanism, which has been classified as a religion by some.

Closest? no religion is pure..they would all fall short of God's expectations anyway.
Christianity is about following the way, the truth and the life. Religions are already damned.

At first, it seems like "Buddhism", when you read. But it is not, when it comes to practical life. It lays on self-practice, but become realising that human's knowledge is quite limited, I surrendered. It is no way to solve spiritual problems by self-precticing.
