Edit:
I'm doing these by calligraphy myself. Thinking of also adding our initials to the bottom right corner. What do you think?

As well, we only had about a month and a half to plan the wedding, as well.

How crass, to think of the gifts. Honestly, I'm not worrying at all about what people generously offer. I really just want to know that they have a good time.

How about...
Phoning them up saying you haven't received their RSVP yet from the invitations you sent out..whats that you haven't got one??? well can you make it? I guess they got lost in the post then just send the normal one a bit late!
After the phone call they'll ring you back to tell you the invitation has finally arrived and they'd love to come!

That's fine. I've had to give an immediate answer before for a wedding two weeks away. They had changed the date.

Shame on you. I don't know how short the notice is, but I wouldn't be surprised if few people showed up at all. People need at least one month's notice to attend a wedding.
