it is the doctrine of the protestants... it was first coined by Martin Luther when he protested to the ways of the Catholic church...

it is a doctrine that says, one only needs the scriptures, and not the traditions which was opposite to the teaching of the catholic church which is tradition together with the scriptures...
hence, Sola Sciptura.... or scriptures alone...

but i beleive, non believers twisted this teaching that Sola Scriptura means the Bible is enough to unerstand all...

which is quite not what Sola Sciptura means...

What that statement means to me is that I do not believe in any other religious text, nor do I believe people are inspired today like they were when the Bible was written.

In other words, I will not accept something as true because the Pope, or my Pastor, or some church creed says it. I will only accept something as true if I have come to that conclusion through my own prayer and study.

I don't know I don't believe in the bible. However my guess would be that the ones who say that mean they only believe in their bible, or they mean they don't feel they have to go to church cause they believe in their bible and feel that's good enough for them.

Paul wrote a letter to one of his new churches saying that if anyone comes to them, an angel, a teacher, or even themselves, preaching a different gospel than they received at the start, they were to reject that teaching. What we mean is that we accept the original message of Christ and no adjusted version or witness' testimony that opposes that message. This book has been tested for thousands of years and continues to be tested today. It has always held up historically and morally.

They are fundamentalist who believe in the bible word for word and do not try to tie in anything scientific to explain anything in the world.

For instance they would not ponder whether evolution may have actually been GODS methodology since it was not mentioned in the bible.

I neither perception nor do I disbelief. I do in simple terms no longer understand. and that's the closest to fact which you would be able to get good now. i do no longer understand. And if i ought to point, the commencing factor for you would be from the state of no longer-understanding. A state of sheer lack of knowledge. From there you are able to circulate. look at. % the certainty for your self. in user-friendly terms then will you extremely understand. to this point as i'm in contact, ideals are obstacles on the path of understanding because of the fact once you the two perception or disbelief something then the door to understanding is closed. there is not any threat for understanding to ensue because of the fact you have already believed or disbelieved. So is the meaning of existence to grow to be? to this point as i'm in contact, you already are that which you're. there is not any longer something yet 'to grow to be'. And as you're, you're already appropriate. As appropriate because of the fact the author needed you to be. So what's lacking right here? that's in simple terms a count of interest. Of understanding. no longer in user-friendly terms believing. for this reason the insistence on meditation. and that's the shutting-out of the outdoors worldwide and listening to the indoors. Remembrance. Sadhana. Its in simple terms a means of interest. no longer a means of growing to be something which isn't already there. no longer 'growing to be'. properly, in case you want to place it that way, i'm going to assert that the meaning of existence is to 'grow to be conscious'. start up seeing back. Cheerio.
