This whole idiocy was started by Jerry Falwell who claimed that Tinky-Winky, one of the Telletubbies, was somehow gay and tryinf to subtly indoctrinate children into becoming gay. His claim was that Tinky-Winky's purple color and triangle-shaped antennae were "clearly" Gay-Pride symbols, marking Tinky-Winky as a propagandist for the "Gay Agenda". This was shortly after the time when he embarrased himself by calling Barney the Dinosaur "demonic" for trying to teach children tolerance of people who looked or acted differently.

Annoying, yes. Demonic, no.

Teletubbies Evil

I grew up on Teletubbies, I think people think that they are satanic is because they are aliens and they brainwash kids with their alien lingo and hard to understand concepts. It doesn't help when the blue teletubbie was a gay in real life, not that there is anything wrong with that, just that we shouldn't be advertising it to the youth1

You're on crack dude=p The teletubbies may look satanic, if you have really thought about it- because they wobble around silently and make weird noises, but for kids that's just what they like. They don't say anything satanic, or have any references to violence or any other satanic traits.

I don't think that they are evil at all. The show is cute but senseless and worthless.

My main complaint is this is a show that is directed at very very young toddlers who are developing language, but the little tubbie things only speak jibberish. I think it would be better to sit a kid who is learning to talk and use words in front of a kiddie show that is actually using a real language.
That's my only gripe with it.

I don't think they're satanic. I just think they're annoying. And I'm not sure their educational message is too good for a child's mind because they don't speak in clear English. They have cutsey voices and use incomplete sentences, which only teaches kids to speak that way.
I'm so glad my little girl doesn't watch them!

No, they are not Satanic. They don't brainwash kids. Have you ever watched it? Then you'll know this is true.
