Of course pets have a spirit.
They love and hurt and play just like we do.
I believe animals are here to teach us. I know I have learnt many things from my beautiful pets. Patience, fun, unconditional love.
I also believe our pets go to a special place when they leave us. you can still talk to them as well. their SPIRIT never leaves us.

don't read the mean things people say here. Some people don't have spirits or hearts and are just mean, and other people think what they believe is the only way and it's not.
Talk to your parents about your sadness and the best thing that helps the pain, is to cry and let it out.

Did you every notice that if you have yelled at or even hit a dog, it still returns love to the person who was the source of it’s bad treatment. This does not come from stupidity. It is because God has given dogs a deep compassionate understanding of human shortcomings.
A tolerant spirit dwells in the heart of dogs that ask only to be your true friend. YES dogs have souls. I have seen my dogs souls many times when I look in his eyes. God loves puppy dog too and I am sure they go to Heaven.

of course pets have a spirit, it varies with the thinking ability of the pet, but they all have one. Their spirits go the same place that yours will when you leave your body.

the physical body goes to the ground, their souls/spirits go to pet heaven. thats what i would like to think..

If you believe that the afterlife that caring, loving humans go to is a place of perfection and peace, then of course animals go there too because how could such a place exist without them?

JOHANN L, how old are you, honey? You should probably ask your mom or dad since I don't think that people on here will give you very nice answers.
I believe that my dogs have souls and that when I get to heaven, they will all be there.
