I'd give it to the christian. That way when they do steal money from it I can point out how not perfect they are. Why do most christians want us to think they are perfect?

I can't tell if you're Atheist or Christian, but either way, this is a strange and pointless question. Trust has nothing to do with religion - just because Atheists lack faith does not mean they lack morals. So really, I'd have to go with what the guy said about the pockets and keep the wallet.

I don't carry a wallet. But if I did, I would give to a person I know and trust. I don't know anyone who is an atheist so I guess that person would be Christian. I really don't see what difference a person's religion has to do with THIS issue. But, hey, another 2 points for me....

I'd say an atheist. There is no telling what a Christian might think that their imaginary friend told them to do with it. That and atheists are, in general, smarter than Christians and would have a better chance of knowing what to do if trouble came up.

Each person on this is special and made in the likeness of our Heavenly Father......it does not matter which label a person has to be trustworthy,.....it matters what the particular person's character is,.....some people think that they are christian but do not walk the path of Christ,.....some atheist have more discipline than christians do, so the wallet issue is not a religious issue it is a commen sense issue , who personally in your life do you trust in your gut instinct?
I am a Holy Spirit filled Christian who can be trusted to the fullest when it comes to private property......friends are to be cherished not used.

Guess it would depend on the person, who's more honest, trustworthy and loyal? From past experiences with Christians and the way that they have treated me, I have no reason to trust them. So I'd probably go with atheist.

Neither! That would be crazy,.
Statistically speaking though.. There are far more Christian convicts than Atheists. So if I had no choice, and I did not know the Christian or Atheist, then it would go to the Atheist.

An atheist will never give my money to his church, thinking he's doing something good, and not understanding why I'm angry that he doesn't have my money.
Okay, he wasn't holding my wallet, he owed me $20, but after "tithing" he didn't have any money to pay me.

It's sad, but I don't think that I'd trust my wallet with either one of them. There are equal amounts of good and bad in both.

It would depend on the wether the person can be trusted or not. I am atheist and I know some christians can be trusted and some atheist cannot be.
I probably wouldnt want my kids spending too much time with christians though
