It's driving me crazy and I can't sleep. I already asked two doctors and they say its the time of year and theres nothing I can do but use cold water for relief. But I can't exactly sleep with my feet in cold water. I don't think its the time of year because this has been going on for ab out 6 months now. I could really use some input here. I've tried anti funal cream, anti itch cream, regular moisturizing lotion, allergy medication, soaking in hot and cold water, using anti itch bath, and scratching like there was no end to it, and nothing has been able to help me yet.

In the areas you are itchy, are there any dry, red patches, that once you scratch a rash appears? If so, you might want to consider eczema. This very commonly occurs on the palms and feet, and on the feet it can look and act like athlete's foot. In some people, eczema oozes, in others it is very dry, red and scaly. Chronic scratching then causes the skin to become like leather because the skin thickens. There are a number of presription creams, ointments and lotions that are very effective in treating the itchy symptoms. I would see a Dermatologist; I've known people who have been misdiagnosed with other skin problems by primary care doctors, only to see a Dermatologist and find out they had eczema. Even if you don't have eczema, a Dermatologist can at least prescribe something to you to relieve the symptoms since nothing else is working.

Ugh I can't believe the ridiculous answers you got for this question, haha. You probably just have dry skin. I get that sometimes, too. Ugh It's so miserable. Just get one of those "family sized" things of lotion at the store, and continually use it on your hands and feet. You can also get a little bottle to take with you throughout the day, and just fill it up with the big one when the little one goes empty. That's what I do, haha. The big one I have is Suave brand, it's the purple "advanced thereapy" one. That will help so much!

Sounds like an over-reactive immune response, or failure to react as the case may be.

Do not start pasting chemicals all over yourself, or taking drugs if you can help it at all. I had a very similar condition about 10 years ago, which proved to be a totally out of control immune response.

You need to be looking at repairing and maintaining immune function, which is where I specialise funnily enough. I will be more than happy to get some information to you ASAP.

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/820lm

It may be a systemic yeast infestation (candida). This is a fungus, but if it is internal, the anti-fungal you applied may not be able to kick it. There is some basic info about systemic yeast conditions at www.hufa.org, but the bottom line is start eating plain, no fruit added, unsweetened yogurt with the live bacteria.

At night, rub them down with alcohol. Put vasaline on them and wear socks to bed. That should soften them up and stop the irritation.
