Let's call him Man A. This has been going on for a few years but has become more pronounced in the last couple of years. I'm not married but she is -- to another man, we'll call him man B. I am unsure how to handle her moodiness and attitude when she has no control of us being together just hanging out. At first, I just treated it as not my problem. Except that it's become clear that I was just b.s.ing myself and she really is an issue and is very threatened by me. Perhaps for becoming a real threat to her little fantasy she's got going on in her head about man A because I've been friendly with him (nothing sexual yet). She was very mean towards man A's ex and would basically badmouth the woman (who I actually thought was pretty cool). Then I noticed male A's she wasn't coming around as much and then I found out through my sister that they had broken up. I couldn't help but notice the tone of triumph in her voice. I like him. This is going to hurt her and I actually care. HELP.

Is your sister unhappy in her marriage? What does her husband say or know about Man A?

You need to find out who man A. likes there may be a woman C. Its really not you or your sisters likeing him that matters its his choice. Does he even know how you two feel about him? Are you even sure about your sisters feelings toward him.
