There is no such thing as beer with 80% alcohol. The only beverage you will find with that high an alcoholic content is straight grain alcohol which for all intents is 100% alcohol. There are a few liquors made which are pretty high-Bacardi 151 is 75%,Wild Turkey and Seagrams vodka are made in 50% versions.
If you don't drink, a single drink of these would make you pretty tipsy ( counting one ounce as a drink). If you drink, you'd probably just get a nice glow.

It's been a few decades since I was stupid enough to drink an alcoholic beverage that was that high in alcohol. My2cents said it best, "Crap-don't drink it in the first place." Remember, alcohol kills, and that's not just a saying. Every molecule of alcohol kills-on-contact, and the more you drink, the bigger things it kills, like HUMAN BEINGS!!! And you're not Super Man, so that includes YOU!! I like my margaritas, and my wine, and occasional beer, but they ain't 80% alcohol, and I clearly know "when to say when", so be careful. God Bless you.

80% is 160 proof... that's some serious alcohol you're drinking. bacardi 151 is only 151 proof, and it has quite the reputation for being an extremely potent liquor. a normal person would probably need about 2 shots of a 160-proof liquor to feel tipsy, and 4 shots to feel very drunk.

From personal experince of a fine 82% rum knock back (shot) I'd say pretty warm and toasty inside after the fire in your throat and stomach quells. I wouldn't recommend more than two shots depending on your tolerance to alcohol. I had three of these knockbacks and felt pretty good until I stood up and tried to leave the pub by my own means. Then I felt pretty sick and not very upright.

Oh I should mention I was drinking orange juice between shots.

The same as if you have had two drinks of 40%.

Austrian Stroh Rum is 80% but it does not taste like anything. It just burns in your mouth. I think it is only used mixed with hot tea or coffee to give you that warm feeling after a day out in the snow.

I'm not sure it is possible to brew an 80% alcohol beer...it would probably taste like shine & beer mixed together...nasty.

normal spirits are 40%
I have tried a rum at 80% and just a sip was enough, followed by a cup of cool water to put out the fire in my throat

the very strong spirits are best used in mixed drinks such as rum punch. eg Puncheon Rum (Trinidad), Jack Iron (Carriacou)

You will get drunk...but your throat will feel as if you've swallowed paint thinner. It will BURN!!!

Where exactly do you expect to find beer with 80% alcohol, anyway?
