It would depend on HOW God came back to earth. When Jesus walked the earth, the majority of mankind was unaware of his existence. God could be walking among us today and no one is the wiser. If God does decide to come back with a bang, we would all still have our own interpretation of events. It is virtually impossible to have eyewitnesses describe the same factual event accurately. i doubt that adding a spiritual element will improve anyone's objectivity, observation, understanding or memory of the event. I think it is possible that some people will broaden their view of God to incorporate the facts in front of them and grow closer to the views of other faiths. Other people will become even more mired in their own vision of truth, even if it means denying their senses and rejecting the God before them.

Personally, I believe If/When God comes back to Earth, He is going to shake his head at All of us because NONE of the various religions on the planet have got it 100% right! They've ALL screwed up at one point in time.

God is Perfect! Humanity is Not! Humanity dictates/interprets religion, therefor humanity's interpretations of religion are Imperfect!

We will All be judged by what We as Individuals have done in our lives!

i think of you're able to examine some severe anthropology and analysis of the historic previous of human spirituality. the object you quoted is comprehensive or errors and no sturdy in any respect. It appears like a toddler wrote it...a very low point of enlightenment is glaring there.

Not all religions have a single god. So, when you ask about "God", it gives a certain bias to the question.

Besides, many Christians don't think God has ever gone away...

I don't think so, seeing that 'god' is the central figure in all religions, except for Scientology, and the appearance of 'god' would probably re-enforce those religions' beliefs.

I don't think so. People are stubborn. If God says "I accept all religions. Worship me in your method." Then I could imagine this working out.

hmm well jesus was on this earth before and people still didn't believe in him as a God so i think that would be same again, although i think some people would change because he would be there in person and he could show them that he is real basically it would be similiar to when he use to be here on earth...
