I was online trying to chat it up today and I got approached by two young ladies (at least they said they were) from Nigeria. Is there some sort of mail order bride scam going on, or what? What does anyone know?

It's called sad story send me money. They are also hitting up people on the online dating sites. I have been contacted by a few so far and have leran their tactics. I have called a few on things they say and so far they have left me alone. Tell them you have not money no car and live with your parents and they run like a cat in a rocking chair factory.

That is most likely a scam. From what I have read about on those scams is they will show you pictures of really hot women saying that is them. They will then want to meet you but they will need some money to get a plane ticket to the states. You send the money then you never hear from them again.

No mail order bride scam, just plain old SCAM! They get to know a guy and then tell him their internet or some shiit like that is getting shut off and unless they pay it they won't be able to talk anymore blah blah blah...all they do is try to get money from you its an old azz scam
