Suppose a woman is seirously attacking a man (for example, she's hitting him with a baseball bat, or she's grabbing his private parts and won't let go, or she's trying to bite a chunk out of him, etc. Why isn't it ok for a man to hit her back to prevent serious injury to himself? If he doesn't, he (an innocent man) gets seriously injured. If he does, a violent woman (who chose to seriously attack the man) gets hit. Why is the former option better than the latter?
Personally, I think it's better for the violent woman to get hit than it is for the innocent man to be injured, since the man didn't attack anyone and doesn't deserve to be hurt.
For the women who believe the man has no right to hit back, how can you demand that he not protect himself? If a man was attacking you, wouldn't you have the right to fight back to stop the man's attack? Why isn't it OK for a man to do the same thing if it's necessary?

Every person has a right to defend themselves, regardless of the gender of the attacker.

First of all, you are asking if the code of Chivalry is considered wrong in certain situations. Second of all there will come a time when a man will defend himself while trying to reason with the female attacker for those who follow this moral code.
Eventually it just boils down to restraining the person in question for continuing the attack. Basic intincts are going to be called upon as a means of survival, no matter what happens.

Self-defense is self-defense and no one should let another pound on them, male or female. In all respects, he'd be right to protect himself and do what was necessary including hitting back. But, if he can restrain her or bail on the situation, he'd be better off if there are no witnesses - presumption by the law would be that he was the abuser, and a wack job like that would probably make such a claim.

I feel that a man should do what he has to to protect himself from whom ever is threatening him bodily harm, Man or Woman, and he should use whatever means or force necessary. It's called self defense.
Women kill too.... Protect yourself...Lay her OUT..... She shouldn't dish out nothing that she can't take.
If she hits lke a man then, hit her like a man. If she grabs your private parts for no reason, then, grab hers...it can be done.

It isnt ok , because allot of "I am woman hear me roar, bra burnings heretics" have made it about impossible for men to be men in this country. They have snipped their balls, and wear them around there neck, then ***** and complain when men are not interested in their over bearing , power hungry egotistical , hate filled, attitudes, and leave them to be old dried up hags that die alone and childless. I feel a man should NOT by no means harm a woman, but for crying out loud men should be able to protect themselves.

in current laws they concider the male to be the stronger more controling of the 2 and to even restrain the female can be concidered as at very least battery . i have found out recently that the police are actually paid a "bonus" if they arrest the male on a d.v call even if they arent the ones in the wrong so watch out with this

In the case here as u hav mentioned, I feel it is the Innocent man's right to hit her and defend himself...on Humanitarian grounds as well, every being has the birth right to protect himself / herself from any mental / physical attack..

Its not wrong to hit back. It's just not smart because they have the police on their side. Not for legal reasons, just for"moral standards" that have been set by whoever!! Also there are more and more female judges than ever. The system is biased in many ways. Personally i would just push the hell out of her!!

I am a woman and it is my belief that the ***** deserves the same back if not more sense she started.
It is wrong to think a man should not hit back. Justice is blind indeed.
Some women get away with murder, I would beat the crap out of her. To think I don't even believe in violence. Not in this case.

It's never wrong for anyone to defend themselves. Where did you get this crazy impression??? Men have the right to defend themselves against attacks of women and I have never heard anyone claim otherwise.
