it has already developed a lump on the inside and outside of the peircing, and secretes a yellowish fluid, tottally gross.

in the shower use dial soap with no fragrance. when youre out of the shower pat it dry and put bactine on it 2 times a day. there's a possibility you can over clean it so don't. also don't clean it with creams they usually make your infection blow up. and every other day at night dab it with alcohol it'll dry it up.

Apply some alcohol to it and then some anti-bacterial salve. Continue doing that until you get the infection under control. Clean your earrings in alcohol before putting them in will help keep from getting an infection in the future.

salt,soaps and alcohol will kill bacteria but they will also kill skin, which could lead to worse problems. Colloidal silver. it kills all bacteria no questions asked and causes NO ill effects to your body, wash the area with the mineral several times daily- but make sure you get silver suspended in mineral water not gelatin!
you can also drink some. its great for your insides too! If the infected area becomes hot and red, you may need to take a great mineral supplement like B P Balance. Anti-bacterial soap and ointment should do the trick...that's what worked for mine.
