Well, i used to work for a vet and he told some people that had no money to bring their cat in when it broke its leg the vet told them to either shave the hair off of its leg if they can or to put gauze around the leg and then to take a pop cycle stick and put it on the leg and tape it firmly but don't make it too tight on them as to cut off the blood flow to the leg. Leave it on for about two to three weeks of course checking the leg frequently for being cold or anything. If its cold you have your bandage on too tight loss en it up some and re tape it. Hope this helps...

TRUST ME - take him to the vet. We tried to take care of my kittys sprained ankle ourselves and that poor girl. she always hurt. She passed away about a year ago at the age of 16 and she could walk on it but even up to the day she died, she would not let anyone touch that foot. Pick up the phone book and call vets in your area, Advise them that her foot may be sprianed and you dont have a lot of money, ask how much they charge or if they know of any low cost clinics or if they have payment plans. Try to get it resolves asap! Best of luck!

if u have a lot of $ then seeing a vet would probably be the best idea although im not quite sure your kitten acually sprained her ankle but maybe you still need to get the injury checked out

If it looks like ur cat is hurting, wrap it tight (not too tight, but nice and firm) with like an ace bandage. Itll make ur cat feel a ton better, and within a few days at most, should be back to new.

most cats can take care of bumps and bruises themselves but if you are not completely sure if its a sprain or something else (broken or crushed) call a vet for advice...sometimes they will do that over the phone.
