I think I may have a rotten tooth? I take good care of my teeth, but the last molar (not wisdom tooth) on my right side has has a chip of enamal off in the corner of my mouth. now.. I was just checking with it again, and it crumbled. the outer edge is still okat except the one corner, but I am afraid the inside may be the worst? Oh, I will be arranging an appointment a.s.a.p., for this just occoured tonight. anything I should worry abot or do in the mean time.. I am not feeling any pain..? (I am 16?)

What exactly does a root canal insist? I mean, why do you have one, and if I brush my teeth often, care for them wisely, why would that problem exist? ...Then again, I end up having this problem now, so I have obviuosly dne something wrong here.

If the outside of your tooth is crumbling, you have a HUGE cavity. I'm glad you are not feeling any pain, but I am also glad you are going to call your dentist ASAP.

i cannot say whether you need a root canal or not. If you needed one then that would mean the tooth has "died" and there is problems with the nerves. This sounds like decay (your only 16). You should make an appointment.

sounds like calcium deficiency is causing it; however, you must go to the dentist SOON because a rotting tooth cause some awful bad breath

i agree with Dr.Sam dont leave it alone or it will start to hurt i hate tooth aches call ur dentist tomorrow for sure if its not bad they can save it
