No. Not believing in something is not the same as believing something doesn't exist.

An atheist doesn't believe in god. What you are describing could be called an anti-theist.

Anyway, the burden of proof is always on the positive argument. You are assuming an atheist has to prove the non-existence of god. Not so, not believing in god is the default position, proof is needed to change it. You do not need proof to posit a negative argument.

You could ask that question for Christians Jews Muslims any religion to prove the other religion is the wrong one you would need infinite knowledge because no matter how much faith you have you cant know for sure who or what is G-D so atheist have just as strong a case to say there is no G-D then Christians do to say that Jesus is the son of G-D we don't know for sure and if someone out there does please let me know because I'm interested in hoe you can prove that Jesus is the son of G-D

You are a true atheist with respect to Zeus, are you not?
I am just a true atheist with respect to the God of Hebrew Bible.
It doesn't take infinite knowledge to tell that the stories of the Hebrew Bible are myths.

If you relax your definition of "god" then I will at some point admit that I am agnostic, not atheist.

No.

If you are a Strong Atheist all you need to be able to do is refute the definition of any deity given. It is not very hard to do. Most theists include contridictions in their definition of god anyways.

If you are a Weak Atheist you stand by the fact that no evidence has been given for the existance of a deity. Untill evidence is given they do not see the point in creating a belief arround what we don't know.

You would need infinite knowledge to claim there is without a doubt no God.

You would need infinite knowledge to claim that without a doubt there is a God.

Both sides need it to claim their beliefs as a fact. You don't need it just to have a belief or opinion.

Yes, to claim that there is no God with authority means you would have to be omniscient, as omniscience can only be claimed by God, It is therefore circular reasoning for a proclaimed atheist to accept that omniscience exists whilst denying the existence of God.

Of course through false egotism, the atheist will claim they have a logical argument, to prove there is no God unfortunately truth and logic are not necessarily compatible, your statement is correct, true and logical to the rational amongst us.

God states in the Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 7 Verse 25 "I do not reveal myself to the envious, being covered by my illusory energy"

So those who do not accept the existence of God, often accuse the Theist of being delusional, whilst they themselves are situated in a complete hallucinatory state, bewildered by the temporary material energy.

To understand the atheistic mentality, acquire one copy of the Bhagavad Gita As It Is translated from Sanskrit into English by HDG A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and study the 16th chapter, which explains in detail the criminal mentality of these miscreants.

Atheist means "without a god"; we see no evidence for the existence of a god, and as such, your god is no more real to us than the invisible pink unicorn I have tied to a muffin tree in my back yard is real to you. Until there's irrefutable, verifiable proof for its existence, it's safe to assume one doesn't exist.

The way I see it, if your god is all knowing, he knows what it would take to convince me of his existence; if he's all powerful, he can do it; if he's all loving, he wants me to believe in him so I can go to heaven. Whatever it would take for me to believe obviously has not happened, so your god either doesn't care, doesn't know how to convince me, or is incapable of showing proof.

Atheism = Lack of theism. Or lack of belief in gods.

Would you need infinite knowledge to be an asantaist?

Watch this video.. I'm sooo tired of explaining this to people. Also please tell your pastor so i won't have to explain it so many times.
