with christians arguing that the only way to heaven is through jesus and islam proclaiming everyone else to be infidels. These are religions of exclusivity, divisiveness and not unity and spiritual healing. Why don't they explore hinduism more (with an open mind) with people having choice to relate to whichever representation of the godhead they relate to personally. Isn't that true monotheism to unite people in peace?

The only way we'll be able to coexist and find peace is to accept that others have different beliefs and be happy for them. As long as you worship (or not) to yourself and don't try to convert, threaten or hurt others then it's all good.
We all need to put the shoe on the other foot and realize that we can all get along better with kindness and inderstanding.

Three things (1) there have been very few periods in world history where there has been peace. Somebody is always at odds with someone else. (2) to go to the Christian heaven all you have to do is accept Jesus as your Savior for ALL your sins past present and future and (3) The major monotheistic have the same underpinnings of belief
I do not think it is just the Christians who are putting out this belief, what about the Islamic suicide bombers?

This book can answer this question much better:
"The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle
But I will attempt top answer it myself
We all are ruled by our ego. We need to understand the difference between the dogmatic aspect of every tradition (religion) and the spiritual aspect.
Once you understand the role of the ego and how all religions are flawed with the Dogmatic aspects obscuring the original intentions of that tradition you can transcend the religion and
as tashitrav.... just said experience the truth and GOD directly and realize the connective-ness of all sentient beings.
Like I said Tolle explains it much better!!! Get the audio version and listen and meditate it to it slowly...it will enlighten you to all this!!

Aren`t you being exclusive by claiming that Hinduism is better than other religions? Anyway, the only way we can co-exist in peace is if we denounce our religions, national identities, racial bigotry, and greed. These are all schisms that divide us, we as a human race are a whole.

The thing is yes, Christian's believe that the only way to heaven is through Christ, however many are missing one major part of Christ's message- Tolerance. We are supposed to love without prejudice.
If all religions could just embrace diversity we could all find peace and coexsist.

They have to stop fighting and learn to deal with each other personally I'm an orthodox Jew so my beliefs are different then a Christin or Muslim so there is no one religion in which we can all have the same beliefs we just have to learn how to deal with each other and respect each other

Truth is experienced and not imposed. Everybody's experience is unique and even those within the same religion worshiping the same god interpretes the god in different ways.
I agree very much with Miss Bliss.

If we all knew the answer to that one there would be peace already. It's simply impossible for there to be peace while there is religion. Get rid of religion and it solves most problems, but not all.
