I think it depends on the guy. If the guy is smart, then he'll definitely go for the smart girl so he can have decent conversations. Some smart guys go for looks but then just get bored quickly.
If a guy isn't confident about his intelligence, then he'll probably be intimidated by a smart girl.
Either way, there are plenty of guys who want smart girls. That's why there are sites like DateSmartPeople.com.

I don't see a smart girl as a threat, unless she is completely out of my intelligence league. That means, if she is much smarter than I am, our conversations might not be on the same page. However, intelligence is not that important. Personality is much more important, and so are looks (not even necessarily natural beauty) because how a girl takes care of herself is how she might take care of others.
But, if I get into some stupid argument about the political ramifications of mole men at the center of the earth, it means that we are on the same level intellectually, and our conversations might actually be fun.

I personally get more interested when I meet a smart girl. I usually like to get to know her more, that way we can connect on an intellectual level and not just a physical attraction like many of the relationship out there.

* smart nerdy type
* natural beauty.. without makeup preferred.
Her smart would turn me on so much! But she would need to be a bit open to have fun and social. They are the ones I would want a serious relationship with and marry one day.

It depends. I look at the whole package. I mean, just going for looks isnt gonna do it for me. And just going for smartness either. If she is smart, takes care of herself, id rather go for her then a dumb blonde who talkes about O.C all the time!!

As long as you can blow a good one and cook fried chicken, it doesn't really matter. Smart girls have more money, that I can mooch more of. Only bad thing is smart girls don't swallow.
