Well, when they ask you to talk about self..

Usually I will share a little bit about:
- my age
- my character: happy -go lucky, easy to get along with
- my past experiences (relavant to this job)
- my hobbies

If you want, you can craft a speech based on the above and email me at verityy@yahoo.com and i will try to help you edit ;)

(look the person in the eye...smile...extend your hand to shake theirs. use a full and firm palm hand shake, not a partial and light hearted one. an employer can read much about you through a hand shake.)

example:
say: "hello, my name is Rosi Answers! i am here for the interview of the secretary's postion".

...the rest will fall into place.

Good Luck!

State your name. Tell an interesting story on how you came to be what you are. If you're short on time, simply tell the main points of it, more or less than a story.

I believe you could have sent it your resume prior to your interview. Do not repeat what the interviewer has already known. Relax and Just be yourself. But do not oversell yourself. If possible speak less and speak intelligently.
